The Palisadian-Post has listed its local athletes of the year. Among them is a Harvard-Westlake sophomore on the girls' varsity volleyball team. Alumnus Jason Reitman '95 Directs New Film, Juno

Jason Reitman '95 is the director of Juno, a new film dealing with a not-so-new topic -- an unwanted pregnancy -- in a different way than other recent films, and it's getting good reviews.

Reitman's many credits also include directing In God We Trust (2000), Consent (2004), Thank You For Smoking (2005), one episode of The Office (2007), and numerous awards.

The Harvard-Westlake Alumni Association invites all alumni, current parents and parents of alumni to join us at ©MURAKAMI on Thursday, Jan. 10, for an evening of friends, art and conversation.

MOCA Director Jeremy Strick P’06 ’08 and MOCA Chief Curator and Exhibition Curator Paul Schimmel will be on hand to give us a brief introduction to the work before we view the exhibit.

The event will run from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 152 North Central Ave. Los Angeles, CA 90012. Light refreshments will be provided, and an RSVP is required.

Girls' Volleyball Wins Division III Championship
